Jen Mathers

DESIGN PROJECT MANAGER

Jen joined Four Dimensions in 2024 with a background in habitat restoration and design of residential and commercial projects throughout the Bay Area. Prior to her design training, she worked for 15 years as a consulting botanist and restoration ecologist, developing expertise in native plants, invasive species control, and public and private land management. At home, she cultivated an interest in native plant gardening, rainwater harvesting, and sustainable landscape construction. Her home gardens in Oakland and Pinole have been featured on the Bringing Back the Natives Garden Tour. She is eager to advocate for the power of plants and to restore habitat at any scale! At night she scrubs off the garden dirt and plays cello in orchestras and chamber ensembles.
